saw TWICE twice

went for music bank to see twice and had to wake up at 515 to catch the first train to see them for 10s ded ded ded
arrived at around 7 and they entered around 710 wow if i was any min later i would have missed them 
they arrived and it was super crowded and they went in super fast so i didn't even get to see them well
was in a good spot for the gopro but not a good spot for my eyes so i moved then in the end the video was shitty but saw them with my eyes so hey good enough 

so:
1. mina is damn fucking pretty i saw her first
2. chaeng and that bright hair makes her easier to spot
3. momo’s extensions are gross but her smile is great
4. jihyo looks great with a tan
5. nayeon turned around at the door to respond to her fans

the real deal came around 1120+ where they left for lunch 
at 1120ish there was this commotion at the entrance and TWO vans rolled up and everyone crowded around the vans and the entrance 
SO I KNEW SOMETHING BIG WAS GOING TO HAPPEN AKA twice is coming out la 
that's why i quickly cross the barricade to go over to the other side

and cos some of the fansite masters went to eat and just left their ladders there so i just used their ladders to have a good view
mina came out alone first and the van drove off with only her and the rest took awhile to come out so i stopped recording
she was in gross slippers and a gross bright blue costumes with a blanket wrapped around her but still managed to look like she descended from heaven or came out from a castle A LITERAL PRINCESS i'm telling you

second batch: jeong tzuyu sana chaeng came out in this order
SHOUTED SANA'S NAME AND SHE TURNED AND LOOKED AND SMILED AND WAVED
SHOUTED CHAENG NAME REPEATEDLY TO GET HER TO TURN OVER TO THIS SIDE AND SHE HAD A SMALL SMILE ON HER FACE AS SHE SHOOK HER HEAD WHILE LOOKING IN THIS DIRECTION
shook her head like "you pathetic fool do you like me that much" (YES TAKE ME MY QUEEN) 
chaeng also accepted a fan letter and i'm like super regretful that i didn't write although i have been wanting to for a while but it's okay next time

so anyway guys this is the day i made eye contact with sana and chaeng i have nothing else i need in life anymore amen i would like to thank not only jesus but also every god out there in this universe thank you bless y'all

anyway stayed until around 1 and really had to go for NANTA (reluctantly) so i went to the convenience store to buy some food before finally leaving 
saw a mob in front coming closer to me and someone within the mob said it’s nayeon
AND IT'S NAMO
thought they were going to their van to go for lunch too so i stepped on the steps of the restaurant/convenience store for the elevated view 
BUT THEY CAME UP THE STEPS AND WENT INTO THE RESTAURANT (they were like RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME)
someone stepped on momo’s shoes and she had to stop to wear them back
she just laughed her trademark silly laugh while wearing her shoes and catch up with nayeon (her eyes are damn big)
nayeon backtracked to help/pull momo forward and before they entered the restaurant nayeon waved in my direction
after they entered the restaurant everyone crowded outside to peek in and i really feel v sad for them cos they are like some specimens/animals who are being paraded around where their every move is being scrutinized and watched
anyway the fans scolded the person for stepping on momo and causing her to lose her shoes it was damn intense like they were shouting and all lol

the fansign is at starfield hanam which is like super far from civilization ded 
took about 1.5h to reach the mall and reached around 1150 even tho fansign starts at 3 lol
immediately headed for second floor for the elevated view and it was quite okay cos not many people were there yet 
and once again i realized that in korea, as long as you are willing to spend time, you will be able to see them (but then fangirling is really damn tiring like never eat proper meals need to stand long hours even worst than KOI lol) 
anyway realized why they do public fansigns cos it helps to promote them to the general public 
like all those older gen who are out shopping will see the stage and be like "oh twice is having a fansign here today" so even if they dk about the group they will know after that 

anyway sat down to chope this side view spot until about 1 then i cannot take it alr so i went to walk around and buy a selfie stick for my phone so i can record later when twice came 
went back around 230ish to look for another better spot and managed to find a spot closer to the center 
just nice the person in front left so i was first row!! 
so technically i stood from around 1 to 5 for twice help sia

the fansign was supposed to start at 3 but they came late like around 315? 320? 
first time seeing a fan sign happen in my life and it's quite interesting (hopefully more to come)
seating arrangement: sana nayeon jihyo momo dahyun jeong chaeng mina tzu
sana has the most toys and wow that look that she gives the fans as they talk how do y’all not melt (she looks at fans with honey dripping out of her eyes)

nayeon is one of the fan service queens always waving and posing for cameras when she’s free
jihyo really looks good with the tan and pretty with the bouquet of flowers
voice is really the loudest among them haha
because i'm on the second floor, the sound doesn't really travel up well so cannot really hear the rest properly but when jihyo speaks it's like BOOM suddenly can hear lolol 
momo also one of the fan service queens making sure to wave to every floor
dahyun also fan service queen obviously
damn extra at the end she asks if the fans are hot and waved her fan at them and also did a extra dance lolol
jeong is pretty but doesn’t really interact w the upper floors 
chaeng’s ARMS AND SHOULDERS EXCUSE ME LIKE I CAN SEE THAT DEFINED ARMS FROM THE SECOND FLOOR HOW EVEN PLS TEACH ME YOUR WAYS SENPAI
she really loves strawberries like someone gave her a strawberry stress ball and she held it and posed with it kekeke (update: the fan said that she dotted the strawberry with her marker to give it its dots SO CUTE LEH)
and there's also this toy a fan gave her it was on her lap the whole fan sign and when she just got it she played peekaboo with it 
before the start of the fansign she waved at her fansite for a good 5s
mina’s off shoulder red dress = collarbones gala = elegance 101 (thank god for styling that accentuates my 2 baes' best features that day sia) 
tzu walked in first and from the back really v pretty and elegant
when she walked in first i was like "wah got dark long hair" so i thought it's chaeng but then too tall to be chaeng (rip sorz) and when she turned around i was just O_O wow okay she's growing on me 
saw jihyo’s parents! they were obviously excited to see each other but then i'm once again sad because they have to go to their schedules/events to see each other... (reminded me of the time when jihyo and jeong were on vapp and she was like "yeah my sisters live a better life than us" and i'm just so sad for them boohoo like i love them so much and i want the best for them you know???) 
anyway they performed DTNA and i wasn't really paying attention cos too busy filming but the fan chants super loud sg really cannot compare lol (finally experienced konces and hope to have a real konce concert experience next time!!!) 
before they left mochaeng was being cute keke THEY JUST DESERVE THE BEST, ALL OF THEM. 

anyway there was this chaeng sg stan beside me and she was like zooming in on chaeng and took a 30min video focused on chaeng like wow dedication
also saw her posting on insta zooming on chaeng and be like “hi baby” and had michaeng as her wallpaper ITSSA MY FRIEND
and she came with the bf i think and she was like "eh help me move my fringe to the back pls" and the bf held those portal fan for her the whole time while she was recording i'm just FIND ME SOMEONE LIKE THAT TOO PLS.
sadness unnie looks skinnier dk is it cos skinnier irl or lost weight because of the job lol rip tough job

my last chance to see them will be on aug 1st where they are going for korean music wave but i can't cos i have a goddamn test on aug 2nd -_- so near yet so far has never felt more apt. but ofc really very happy to be able to see them twice at no cost but I WANT MOAR. let's really go on for a long long time!!!!!!1111!!!!1

TWICELAND 2 FANTASY ZONE

lol reading my last year's post before coming to write this and i realized i was way more excited for last year's con than this year's i think i have aged and am too old to be doing all this anymore (or maybe i'm just too jaded/tired with life to be that excited haha) 

alright so this year they start off with a fantasy world concept where they come out like goddesses sitting on dangling swings 

super lucky that chaeng and mina are on my side of the stage hehe

saw it on twitter during their korea con so was not surprised 
tbh don't really remember the setlist cos too busy running around chasing them around the stage + trying to record while keeping an eye out for the guards 
but really v worth it cos really get to see them up close, closer than the seating at star last year 
next time i will go for seating probably, not because it's tiring (well it is but it's not the reason why), but because i think it would be good to sit on top and get a bird's eye view of everything that's happening too (and also really enjoy the concert and watch them perform and dance rather than run around in the mosh ded) 
also mina and chaeng were always on the other side so didn't really get to see them a lot sigh
saw momo and jihyo the most, then sana, dahyun, nayeon and jeongyeon, then tzuyu, mina and chaeng 
also compared to last year, i must say the girls are more relaxed and professional? like the stages feel more coherent now, as expected they improve with experience 
and i think i enjoy watching them more now because 1. since they themselves are more comfortable and natural 2. i think i know them and their dynamics better to better appreciate them now
personal stage faves were: knock knock (the remix is good) and what is love acoustic (love the adlibs and harmonization)
oh and also the vcrs are so cute it's like a small cut of a reality/variety keke

alright moving on to the members:
nayeon: her smile is really the best altho her rbf also v strong lol
1. when chaeng pointed out a fan board or smth to nayeon and they both laughed and nayeon posed for the fan 
2. their talk after their subunit she was like flirting with jeong and all being like "i'm happy to be doing the subunit stage with jeongyeon. you know my heart right?" and linking arms with jeong and leaning on her and shit 
but jeong is just like "no idk show me your heart. (in english) show me, nayeon." 
aiyo get married la lol 
during the my ear candy stage nayeon pulled jeong's shirt to pull her to her and it was just intense AND GAY (thank u for promoting the gay agenda im nayeon) 
jeongyeon: okay first things first she's quite pretty jyp let her leave her hair out if she wants to goddamnit you don't need to have short hair to be a girl crush
also she has ton loads of fan boys lor what girl crush lol 
but erm need to improve on singing ded like the rest all sound pretty similar to CD but she's the only one that sounded different... 
momo: MOST EYE-CATCHING MEMBER OF THE NIGHT LA
like when they dance tgt you just can't help but look at her cos she's so powerful!! like during beyonce's end of time stage her intense dancing + the costume that accentuate her dance moves are just >:O TAKE MY HEART HIRAI MOMO 
then she is one of the members who really does a lot of fan service like she made sure she looked and waved in all directions, doing the extra but small stuff that as a fan i really appreciated it 
and during their individual intro her "hello i'm momo" is so cute but i didn't record it down GODDAMNIT 
10/10 can date if you can accept the fact that you will always be 3rd in her heart after food and dance haha 
sana: cutie-sexy is really the most accurate description of sana like she's so cute when she smiles but also can be sexy if she wants to 
like her smile is so endearing and her eyes are just 꿀 떨어진다 like she stares at the fans with so much love in her eyes WHAT DO U WANT FROM ME I CAN GIVE YOU ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING 
jihyo: brightest smile in the whole wide world no kidding 
at the start she was focusing on singing and she kept frowning so i was like "oh no is it bad mood today" but as the con progressed she smiled more and her smile is just so precious 니가 웃으면 나도 좋아
mina: hair up in a ponytail today but looking like royalty and elegance as always 
like how can someone be so elegant, gentle and graceful?!?!??!?!?! is it humanely possible? 
is mina even human? she's really pretty and just perfect that i'm like legit jealous of her future husband he must have saved like 10000 countries in his past life to get her okay!!!1!!!11111
but can understand why people think of her as the dead fish since she's quiet and pretty expressionless at times so people may think of her as rude, aloof or just dgaf BUT THAT'S NOT TRUE
dahyun: ahh the mood maker as always 
also another fan service queen, making sure to like shoot hearts, winks, everything everywhere 
does a good job at raving the crowd like making us scream continuously 
and also copied the translator this time lol 
momo and her stayed behind at the end doing some weird poses together before momo carried her off stage and she was like kicking and struggling jokingly haha cuties 
chaeng: the orange hair kinda faded into a blondish color so it's slightly better but the choppy bangs hmmm... 
her fan service is quite minimal like she doesn't wave and shoot hearts like the other members but i spotted her pointing at fans to acknowledge them or like shooting finger hearts some times 
but her arms are really super toned wtf like during one of the talks the camera/screen was on her and WTF I COMBUSTED (when will i have those toned arms gg) 
말투는 은근히 귀여워 during the talks there are some parts where her voice will be damn cute and i'm like jumping on my spot (legit send help pls thanks) 
but she's so underrated and have so little fans sigh i hope she doesn't feel discouraged!! continue to work hard! 
tzuyu: she's so much more confident now, speaking in chinese more but still preferring to leave the talking to the others 
pretty ofc and that adlib during what is love acoustic was really v good (really improved a lot from sixteen)

okay gotta write it all down!!!!!
actually wanted to go early to go and get those free banners from those fan sites but after seeing the crowd i'm just like nope no go and stayed at home until around 4-ish? before i slowly made my way there
it's the first time i actually went to star theater to watch a show and i must say it's pretty decent i like it like the stairs all have lights so it has the stairway to heaven feel hahaha

everything was pretty decent, they have those gantry then you have to scan your ticket to enter (damn atas)
then bag check
after entering i went to collect the vip ticket free gift which is a passport holder and luggage tag?? kinda useless (aka will never use it ever cos it's a very ugly color erpz)
was about to go in to the concert hall already but i saw the merchandise booth and they were selling the candy bongs AND I MAKE BAD LIFE DECISIONS SO I GOT IT LA (damn easy to persuade lol freaking loser)

which i kinda regret when i entered and my whole row only had like 1-2 people who had it?? but didn't regret cos like it's really v nice and i will use it as my lamp now or smth HAHAHAHA

okay so when i got in they were playing twice mvs and the fans were all cheering and doing fanchants really damn got atmosphere

with lights

LIGHTS OFF

but they played a jyp propaganda clip and i was just like /blinks eye meme/
talked to the guy beside me and he's like 16 halp i am so old

concert got delayed a lil but the most 소름 feels is when the lights turn off and you know shit is about to go off and you turn around and the lightsticks and all are so beautiful so you just emoshunal (but i don't like the colorful concept leh like don't have the ocean feel)

but okay they played some intro video and BOOM the screen in the middle splits open and they came out from there
at this point in time i am just AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH cos it was like this circular staircase structure and they were all standing at different places
chaeng was at the top so i just TT can't control my feels when i saw her

then they did short dance solos and moved out to the stage to perform touchdown
i'm going to be a star: erm when the song started i just burst out laughing like erpz
they don't sound bad tbh or my eyes just working so hard my ears not working idk HAHAHA
cheer up: was damn shocked they put one of their biggest hits so early in the show (altho they only have 4 titles lol) but yah the moment they get into the flower position i lost it

talk: stopped to introduce and talk to us and i was damn shocked that they talked for so long like almost a good 5-10min but okay chaeng and mina was standing to the right where i was sitting so no complaints la my eyes were just glued to them

during the talk they were like pretty amazed at sg once's korean ability then nabongs went "트와이스 좋아하는 사람?" then everyone cheered and jeong "김시 좋아하는 사람?" and everyone cheered again haha
but also, this is where the differing popularity between the members become v obvious like the screams are the loudest for tzuyu > mina/sana > momo > the rest (rip)

okay don't remember the songs they performed alr but i still feel their tracks from the first album were the best like do it again is da best
when it was the like a fool stage I LOVE IT SIA like even tho they didn't dance cos of jihyo's injury they flashed photos of the girls behind on the big screen while they sang and it's really damn cute and just awwwwwwww worthy

one thing i really like is their VCRs??? like right before the subunit stages they played this VCR where it showed them planning their subunit stages and shit it is damn cute (while watching it i was like i'm going to buy the concert dvd just for the VCR cos it's SOOO CUTE and also chaeng still had her boyfriend hair)
impt things to remember for the VCR: minachae doing ballet, dahyun and jeong doing the goblin sword dance lol
4 minutes: it's supposed to be a cool concept but MINA IS SO SEXY LIKE HOMG (like i can't describe it go and watch their fancams)
yonce: istg they are trying to kill me luckily chaeng was on the other side i menboong when i saw them wheeling out the "boxes" they were in
but like momo's shrimp dance and chaeng TT YOU ARE A BABY DON'T DO SEXY
also sana is really v sexy
and there's this particular part of the dance that i really like it when chaeng does it it's like this punching motion and she damn swaggy when she does it so yep
black cat nero: dahyun came out and played the piano -> she played the 007 ost, ending off with a very dahyun-like dramatic bow before putting on her cat paw gloves and hoodie to perform black cat nero with tzuyu
one of the stages i was really jamming to idky lol but it was just damn high

after that they came out with the sailor outfits performing some cartoon ost and after that sailor moon ost 
can i just say: CHAENG LOOKS V CUTE IN THE SAILOR MOON OUTFIT ERMAGAD
nayeon came out first then she pointed her candy bong to the side to "summon" chaeng then when she came out i just died
she is so cute in the sailor moon outfit and a cat ear head band sobs
talk: they had a talk here to talk about their subunit stages and when tzuyu and dahyun said that their subunit was in charge of cuteness in the team the members asked them to do aegyo lol
so tzuyu had to do aegyo ("once, wo ai ni") and cos momo copied tzuyu's actions, she got asked to do aegyo too ("i love you" HER VOICE IS SO CUTE)
ofc how can we forget about jihyo when it comes to aegyo
and they were like "how can we not see nayeon when it comes to aegyo" then we all chanted for nayeon who eventually relented and did aegyo haha
they also asked jeong to use aegyo to introduce the next song and all of their reactions HAHAHAHA

the other VCR was about this "once" (the camera) having a dream about twice and i was just thinking "they really know how to use their beauty"
like the first was going on a date with sana and i just died la she is really very pretty
then painter chaeng with the boyfriend hair MY AESTHETIC
and baking with mina and the shot of mina tying her hair she bit the hair tie and combed her hair and then tied it TOO MUCH

okay so cover dance time
overdose: as expected their dancing still remains the same haha the chain is still as messy as ever but bro momo went so hard my eyes veered between her and chaeng for this song
pretty u: okay can i just say i want to stab myself cos i was trying to record for this one but had to worry about the security and all so i really didn't watch this stage properly sobs
but i love the outfit for this one cos chaeng looks damn good in suspenders and sleeveless 어깨강패 hurhurhur
and she caught the book this time HAHAHA
but this is also one of the songs i jammed damn hard to haha

before that they taught us the chorus dance for it and asked us to dance along to it
but i really love this song it's so nice and also chaeng wrote the rap for it HURHURHUR
TT: fanchants were awesome for this (and basically for all the title tracks)

knock knock: mina didn't poke chaeng's stomach TT
so it was the "end" but ofc there is encore

so encore they had this VCR which is like those kiss cam at baseball cams but no kissing, just the camera will film a fan then the fan has to dance, answer questions to a quiz etc
damn paiseh but got one guy damn funny HAHAHA
then they came out singing one in a million and gosh the feels man
i bet it will look even better on stage seeing all the fans waving the light sticks
then they gave their ending speech in a row: nayeon sana jihyo tzuyu dahyun mina momo chaeng jeong
quite sad to hear like many of the members say stuff like "altho we are still lacking a lot but thank you for loving us" etc like girlies the comments must be harsh
jihyo included a few chinese phrases here and there; 大家好 and 见到你们好高兴
tzuyu just spoke in chinese and can i just say i love listening to taiwanese chinese NOT BEING BIASED BUT I REALLY LIKE THE WAY THEY SPEAK CHINESE like so niceu
dahyun is just DAMN BLOODY FUNNY what in the world
her intro: 大家好我是 angel 多賢" (cos she was wearing an angel head band)
then when the translator is translating her words she pretends to lip sync to it TT dead la she is really v cute and v active
then sana noticed and told jihyo (SAIDA ALERT)
mina: very soft spoken and ended her speech in english "thank you for coming tonight and thank you so much"
momo: "i think sg onces' korean are very good and i will work harder on korean myself and also work hard on other languages so i can better communicate with you guys next time"
chaeng: i feel like as a artist chaeng knows how to phrase her words very well and she ended with english also "i love you guys so much ____" forgot the second line
oh and i find that she tends to mumble her words don't do that :(
then while the people behind were making their speech sana and nayeon made hearts
sana did the over the head heart but nayeon was doing the hand heart and nayeon didn't want to switch to the over the head heart haha
eventually they did the over the head heart -> elbow heart -> hand heart (cuties)

then they wanted to take a photo with us before the last few songs and they back faced us but the photographer didn't come out so they were like ????
but the fan video started playing and they were like "아이 이거 뭐야"
quite touching and cute like they played their videos from sixteen, clips with their parents, dance practices and stuff like "thank you for not giving up on your dreams on being a singer because that's the reason why we can see you on this stage now"
(but there's this clip of dahyun dancing to fire and she reenacted it live + aired momo's ohaiyo and nico nico ni and can see she hid her face in her hands haha but after that she also reenacted nico nico ni live)
then immediately when the video ended we raised the fan banner and yep can see the girls were v touched hurhur (jihyo looked like she was about to cry TT)
took the photo then encore

they sang their three hit songs (no knock knock)
and because they didn't do the choreo so they were just walking around playing with each other and basically my reason of death cos they are being cute and playful with each other
when the song started sana started chasing nabongs
then momo stuffed the banner up chaeng's shirt who later stuffed it into momo's shirt as revenge
jeong sat at the edge of the stage with sana on our side
dahyun was being extra by lip syncing to the high notes and going extra hard for the dance break for LOA
chaeng doing the flower pose for dahyun who wanted to kiss her but chaeng escaped
then after that tzuyu, jihyo, sana, mina came over to this side
jihyo, sana and mina stood very close to the edge of the stage to be closer to the fans
when making her way across the stage mina does this weird twirling and dancing thing haha she's really so weird and cute??? like she's so quiet but weird but also cute at the same time
and from all the fancams they were going around kicking each other's butt (literally lol)
2yeon sat on the other side this time and chaeng went to sit with them TT WHY DIDN'T YOU SIT ON THIS SIDE
oh momo was like killing dahyun with her hugs
yah then when it ended they walked back to behind the screen which will close
nabongs hit jeong when she was holding the banner (typical 2yeon bickering)
and they all did the sana oohyo oohyo thing haha momo even did it properly while facing us
then as the screen was closing chaeng went "i love you so much!" and the others echoed
and sana went sha sha sha or smth and it was goodbye

now, thoughts on each member:
nayeon: leads most of the talk, is very cute, i like her aegyo v much
jeong: (nothing very memorable.... pls forgive)
momo: dude her voice is really so high pitch like i thought she was faking it BUT SHE REALLY SOUNDS LIKE THAT
and like there was this part during one of the talk it was supposed to be her turn to talk but she forgot or smth and chaeng had to tap her before she remembered hahaha
sana: also very high pitch voice and is one of the more playful members?
went around playing and teasing the members (mostly dahyun haha)
jihyo: i noticed that like before each talk, they won't turn on the lights until the members get into their position/drank water alr and every time jihyo will make sure that everyone is ready before talking to signal that they are ready and the lights can be turned on
also like i hope she won't take it too hard on herself that she can't dance cos of her knees like gurl take care of yourself first
leaders ftw yay
mina: saw her weird side today haha i think she saw people holding the banner of her doing the kungfu pose so she did it quite a lot and also weird dancing around the stage during the encore
just accepting the hits from her members without retaliating i mean is there a person on earth that is more gentle than mina???
also like can tell that she knows she's pretty HAHAHAHA like not in a bad way that she's super arrogant about it but you can tell from the way she carries herself
or she just carries herself with a lot of confidence???
dahyun: bruh climbed up my bias list so fast with her antics HAHAHA
like i said she killed it during the ending speech and also during the VCR she's v funny and basically she's the mood maker of the group OH she moon walked out for the sailor moon stage and i think it was unscripted cos even chaeng was like patting the other members to tell them to look at her hahaha
no wonder jyp likes her so much haha
chaeng: basically cemented her spot as my bias
like idk sometimes i look at her photos and she's not the most photogenic of the bunch but oh god she looks so damn good in real life (not sure if it's cos the hair grew out or what)
she's quite swaggy when she dances like she doesn't BOOM like momo but she has her own swag
and also, her mannerisms ARE SO DAMN CUTE EXCUSE ME
like while the other members are talking you will see her fidgeting around and like the little little actions she makes are all v cute (like what do you mean you will only be cute until this year YOU CAN BE CUTE FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE AND I'M NOT EVEN GOING TO COMPLAIN)
there was this part where i think she was saying they need to hear our cheers and she put her hands to her mouth to mime a person shouting

Photo Taking
so guys. i saw twice today and it was just insane.

i went in quite late so i was the last few groups to take photo with them but that's not the point
we had to take this escalator up to the place and dude it looked like the stairway to heaven or smth so apt haha

i thought it was going to be a room then we will have to enter and stuff but no it was just in the middle of the foyer of star??? they just place the background board and another board to block them and people who are queuing

it was quite informal and i just couldn't believe it that twice is just behind that screen
we entered and idk why my eyes immediately locked onto mina
then my eyes moved to the right and omg it's chaeng (my michaeng shipper heart died a lil)
the fans were supposed to stand in two rows and if i stood in the second row i would be behind chaeng and mina but the guard asked me to stand in the first row so i moved and i was behind sana, dahyun and momo
i was wondering why mina kept looking over then i realized it's cos the young boy beside me was crying and dahyun and sana turned around to comfort him saying stuff like "don't cry :(((((("
and this got the attention of momo and nayeon who was on the other side of dahyun and nabongs being the absolute trash for kids she is made a face like "aww don't cry"
then everyone focused in front, took photos (my mouth was trembling while i smiled) and they turned around to comfort the boy again
dahyun went "you are cute, don't cry" to the boy before we left and i looked at chaeng and she's so pretty good god

okay so the seating arrangement from my POV: jeong, sana, dahyun, momo, nayeon, chaeng, mina, (tzuyu and jihyo who i didn't even see erpz)
jeong: she's actually really, really pretty like i think i was the most shocked by her after chaeng
altho i didn't really get a good glimpse of her cos of goddamn saida
sana: her eyes are just so big and her cheeks so puffy and fluffy she really looks like a squirrel
dahyun: she spent the most time trying to comfort the boy and she was always smiling and like her eyes are non-existent cos she kept making expressions to try to comfort the boy???
momo: honestly didn't really pay attention to her (cos goddamit saida) but all i can remember was that her eyes are v big
nayeon: the only impression i have of her is her making that contorted expression like the "aww, don't cry like you shouldn't cry on such a happy occasion" kind of face so i didn't see her normal face HAHAHA
chaeng: everybardy, y'all have to give more credit to chaeng what in the world
like maybe in photos she doesn't look as good as the other members but holy shit she looks so much better in real life
like she legit looks like a doll with her huge eyes, small face and she is just v cute and v pretty (and also because i am a biased shit)
mina: okay the first person i noticed when i stepped in was mina what do you think
she never stopped smiling from the moment i saw her till the moment i left and like the way she's so gently looking at the boy who's crying even tho she's pretty far from him it's like wow mina stop being so perfect??? (and her smile wow okay i am actually in love)
even though she never even talked during the whole interaction elegance and grace just WHOOZED OUT FROM HER like wtf stop being unfair

okay gotta say i think i was most shook by saida this time cos they were right in front of me and they were literal angels trying to cheer the boy up
i would say i paid most attention to: dahyun > sana > mina > chaeng (the rest were just brief looks)

like even after coming out i just can't believe it like i can't believe it TILL THIS MIN

dreams and reality

watched the korean movie twenty ytd and erm it made me think a lot

like basically the story revolves around three guys who are 20 and they are suddenly 'adults' and have to start thinking about what they want to do in life and shit

probably how we felt when we had to make our choice when choosing what we want to major in in uni cos it kind of dictates what we are going to do in life in the future (i have learnt not to believe this, but okay according to popular beliefs) 

and in the movie junho's character aspires to be a cartoon artist but eventually 'gave up' on his dream to pursue a job at his uncle's factory and kang haneul and kim woobin's character dissed him for giving up. 

that part resonated with me a lot cos although i don't know what i want to do in life yet, but it's probably not a 9-5 office job and the thought that i might be pursuing a dream that is not conventional and no one approves of is scary. it's scary because it's going to be hard, and the uncertainty of not knowing whether you will succeed sucks. the dilemma of whether i should persevere and hold on hoping it will be better, or should i just be realistic and give up? 

okay just thinking too much but hey the me 10 years down the road, i hope when you look back at this post you can be like, "hey, good job on persevering because you got what you want" 

as i grow older, i agree more and more with what the adults say: when you are young, you want to quickly grow up but it's only when you grow up that you will know it's even harder when you are older T_T (but then again, i am probably an adult already lol) 

uni sucks cos of the non-existent class system, but it's a welcome shelter and buffer to really think through what i want to do with my life before i graduate. 

it's just going to get tougher from now on, but let's hang on tight my friends!!!

okay but went back to work after midterms and wow i found out about so many things lol. 

it's really not fun outside in the corporate world where everyone is trying to climb the ladder and sometimes treat others so badly just so they can get a one-up against others. 

all i can say is: pls wise up and don't just trust what other people tell you because everyone is just selfish and say things that are beneficial to themselves/paint themselves in a good light. 

dk why i'm not surprised even when the good image i have of someone i respect a lot got destroyed today, probably because they had already been precursors warning me about it? really, the things that happen behind the scenes scare me sometimes. people/humans scare me the most. we are the smartest animal on Earth, but it's because we are the smartest which also makes us the scariest (with our hidden intentions and ulterior motives)

i'm just a part-time so i work infrequently so it's okay, but i feel sad for my FT colleague who's struggling so much with this dog-eat-dog society/company. like the moment you offend the wrong person, it's the end for you. who cares about skills and talents? it's all about the connections you have in the end. 

working has really opened my eyes to a lot of things and i really learnt a lot from it. not only just how things operate, but also how to interact with people and how not to interact with people (sometimes it's not good to voice out your opinion). 

although my impressions of some of my colleagues have changed (for the worst lol) over the span of time i have known them for, i have also met some really nice and sincere people that i feel like i can trust. (okay maybe i'm just being gullible again but whatever okay lol)

like i have this colleague nicknamed yi da li (like Italy but pronounced one big round ball in chinese lol), and like i clicked really well with her and we chatted a lot while we work. she's like my older sister, always looking out for me and telling me stories about her life and like i learnt a lot from her. 

so her mom just passed away recently and we were talking about how she went back to do some ceremony for the 100 days since her mom's death and i asked her an innocent question "你爱你妈妈吗？" cos like she always make sure to go back home when she has break off work (meanwhile there's me who's too lazy to go back home lol)

and she said "爱啊，但是有一点爱得太迟了。那时候早一点爱的话会更好"

wah ffffff then the feels just........... we both teared up a little LOLOLOLOLOL

i teared up cos i feel bad for not going home more often (i'm lazy af la can or not)

like i think at this age it finally hits us that our parents won't be with us forever and we know we have to treasure them before it's too late but we always get to the 'too late' stage before we start to regret (instead of treasuring them when we are with them now!!!!) 

and it's like a big problem for me cos i'm someone who doesn't know how to express my feelings but i guess all i have to do is to show my face at home and they will be happy... so guess it's time to go back home more often!! 

Korea and HK Trip!

so after a big round, i'm back to healingice lol. with a noobass shit bg cos i have no idea how to change it haha fml...

anyway this time i went to korea and hk, places that i have already been to (not that i'm complaining okay)

it's always a happy thing to be able to visit the land of soshi hurhur

so this time i went with my 2 sisters and their husbands and sons and mama and yizhang. 

and my sister was so grossly affectionate with her husband that i'm just like *barf face*

anyway back to the trip, we went from sg to transit at hk and finally korea. when we reached korea in the morning and took the airport express bus to myeongdong where our hotel is. 

after checking in, we went to the gyeongbukgong palace to see the guard changing parade, then went for samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup) after that. it's apparently the best in korea or smth cos there's quite a lot of people queuing for it. and after trying other places' samgyetang i dare say this one is the best. it's really sweet and you can't taste the ginseng smell in the soup. but for ginseng chicken the rice is stuffed inside the chicken along with the ginseng so it's quite cool i guess?

went back to hotel to rest after that and went for dinner and walk around myeongdong area which is near our hotel. had dakgalbi for dinner and it's really good hurhur

the next day we went to lotte world to play and i'm just so amazed at myself like wow my courage level on that day is like ^^^^^ up there and i'm so proud of myself lol. I took most of the scary rides in the amusement park and the best thing is i opened my eyes during all of them. *cries while clapping for myself* 

their main attraction should be all the gyro rides but i tell you should just go for the gyro drop and gyro swing. Gyro drop is the sudden drop from a very high place but it's only one drop, there's no recoil so it's not that bad. the worst was really the gyro swing. it was the last ride my sister and i took and i chickened out a few times while queuing but my sister forced kept encouraging me to go for it. and i did. and i died. (my ghost is currently typing this) nah just jk but it was really damn bad like my specs and mask nearly flew off while i was on it lolzz

dk which day later we went to the namsan tower. went before the other time so nothing much. 

another place we went to was insadong to shop (window shopping for me lol) traveling with such a big group is really tiring we spend a lot of time waiting for each other zzz...

then we went to jeju island and we had a van (cos we had 8 people) to drive us around. the driver was nicer than the previous one and spoke much better english *thumbs up*

went to the glass museum and it was really cool like everything was made up of glass in it. bears, drums, beansprouts, balloons, you name it, they have it.

had grilled black pork at a restaurant for lunch and it's sooooooo goooooooood everyone please go try!! 

went to all the scenic places to see waterfall, rocks, caves blah blah... quite boring haha...

then we moved hotels to the east side of jeju so we can climb the sunrise peak to see the sunrise the next day. AND I'M SO ANNOYED COS DIDN'T REALLY GET TO SEE SUNRISE. AGAIN. the clouds were blocking the sun zzz. this is the second time and i still didn't get to see the sunrise arghhhh really no fate with the sun lol. but i'm really damn unfit lol climb until want to die

went to the green tea museum and innisfree glass house the next day. 

after that we went back to seoul and went to ewha's women uni to look around. they have this building that has idk 10 floors or smth and it has shops, cinema in it. (basically it's like a shopping centre wtf) then i told my sis i probably won't be able to study here cos there are so many distractions everywhere

next stop was ski resort!! learned how to snowboard I LOVE IT. although i fall like 5000 times over the period of 2 days but it's really fun (and cool HAHA). and the ski resort is always the best hotel, we got a free upgrade to a room with 2 floors YAYERZ and because of that we could fit 8 people in comfortably :) and did i mention that this place sells the best pizza cos they do damnnnnn it's really damn good (or maybe i'm just too hungry that everything tastes good to me xD)

after two days we took the shuttle bus from the ski resort to jamsil and my sister and i went hunting for the hard rock cafe to buy souvenirs while the rest headed back to the hotel first. it wasn't that hard to find but the lotte mall is really damn amazing like it's so big (Vivo step your game up) 

checking in again at the hotel (namsan guesthouse 2) in seoul, we got another room and i really liked it cos they have this really cool bunk bed where the bottom bunk is like a baby cot? but sadly i slept on the upper bunk lol

on our last night in seoul, we went with my sisters to eat budae jigae and it was not too bad? (sorry but kbbq still the best hands down for me) and after that got some souvenirs at the mart and we really show hand all our money lol bankrupt after that :/

transit at taiwan before reaching hk~ and can i just say how amazing the hotel (Royal Plaze Hotel) is!!!!!!! my sister said it's a five star hotel and they have gym and swimming pools and you have to tap your keycard to access the lift like wow. but the gym is really the best like they provide earphones and i was so tempted to steal keep it cos my ajays broke down wtf. and they have sauna and a steam room in the gym toilet really just amazing...

as usual, ladies market, shopping, blah blah. bought 2 minion nano blocks and fish eye while i was there~ also got a new sling bag from Fa Yuen Street. but some of the shop owners really damn asshole like they don't want to give discount to you and they are quite stuck up/arrogant. just walk off in this type of situation guys you will find an even cheaper alternative for the same thing down the road lol 

went to see the buddha and prayed desperately for my results *cries* haha but the best thing there is still the vegetarian food (sorry food again hurhur) there was this omelette in sweet and sour sauce, popiah, veggies and soup. yumzzzz

next up, central (zhong wan) area. went there so that mama and yizhang could buy century eggs. after that we went to the very long escalator to find the really nice cafe that sells damn nice french toast xD chanced upon giordano ladies and my sister spent like 1-2 hours there shopping and all of us had to wait for her -.- luckily she bought stuff if not we would have killed her lol

and the last day in hk, we went for tim ho wan YEZZZZZ but the size of the char siew buns seemed to have gotten smaller :( but still good lah. and left the elders at the hotel lobby while we went to shop again cos it was raining and they weren't keen on walking. but ended up going for french toast with my sisters again lolzzz xD 

rotted in the airport for a few hours before getting on the plane and arriving in sg at around 6am finally home sweet home :)
